![]() President's Message - Dr. Jeff Scholten This year has been off to an exciting start! With our major initiatives Healthy ChiroPractice, Friends of Upper Cervical (FoUC), Transition to Success (TtS), Upper Cervical Care (UCC), and Clinic Development each gaining ground thanks to the excellent work many of you are doing. In our fabulous December boot-camp, Dr. Chris Wolff clearly expressed one of the major issues we are working hard to fix for our profession. To paraphrase, Dr. Wolff said, “in addition to being clinicians, chiropractors need to be entrepreneurs because let’s face it, there aren’t a lot of good associate positions available.” In talking to a few of you in the last couple of months that are successful and ready for an associate, you’ve expressed to me your fear of having a bad experience with bringing on an associate. We badly need to utilize associate models that work for new graduates to land and develop their skillset, while creating a predictable benefit to the clinic owner. We are well down the road to vetting more appropriate associate systems in a number of clinics, and we need to continue to mastermind development of these sustainable programs so that as our doctor ratings, patient outreach efforts, and student transition systems develop fully. Our community is our greatest strength. I invite each of you to involve yourself with us and lend a hand to move these initiatives forward. The business of chiropractic is our sandbox, and we are looking to help UC chiropractors be found by patients, give patients a place to receive support and advocate, allow graduates to develop into successful clinicians, and give successful doctors a place to finance the development of our profession and receive an excellent return on their investments. With your help, we can have a better tomorrow for both patients and practitioners. Dr. Jeff Scholten How's Your Online Reputation?
