The best news is that there are plenty of people in the world that need your help. The question is how do you find them? If you want to grow your practice you have a many options available to you but we don’t suggest that you chose just one strategy. There are internal and external strategies for practice growth. Each of these headers can be further divided into procedural activities or special events. The first step you should take is to make a list under each of these four categories, just brainstorm don’t judge quality.
Once you’ve got 10-15 ideas in each category start to hone them down until you have just the two or three that seem most attractive to you and develop a plan for how to implement these. Younger practices should have a few more external strategies and as a practice successfully matures it should move away from special events to concentrate of procedural strategies. Whether it ends up being professional referrals, screenings, corporate wellness or SEO that get your eventual attention, they all require significant effort. Work can be fun if you chose things that you enjoy!
